Our Garden Bench Glider is built from Western Red Cedar.We only use stainless steel fasteners, weatherproof adhesive and glider hardware made in the USA.This ensures your Garden Bench Glider will last a lifetime.
All of our wood is shipped from Washington State.Western Red Cedar is a richly textured wood with a beautiful grain.Each piece is unique, the colors range from light to deep beautiful brown. This species of Cedar has magical properties. It is lightweight, and has an incredible thermal co-efficient, which means even on hot days, it is cool to sit in. The bacteria and fungal resistance of the wood ensures long life. Most importantly, it is 80% the strength of Oak, and is the most desirable wood for outdoor furniture.
